ಪಂಪ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ, ಮಿಷಿಗನ್

Pampa Kannada Koota is a cultural organization representing the Kannada speaking people from Karnataka State, who have settled in Metro Detroit – Ann arbor – Flint area in Michigan. The Purpose of this organization is to promote Kannada language, culture, music, dance, and drama among the Kannada speaking people as well as showcase our rich culture to non-Kannadigas.

Pampa Kannada Koota is first and the oldest Kannada organization in North America Continent and has been active in promoting Kannada culture for nearly 50 years. We organize social and cultural activities to facilitate Kannada speaking people to socially interact with their friends, and nurture interest in Kannada and culture among adults, as well as youth born and growing in USA.

Pampa Kannada Koota is a non-profit organization (IRS Tax ID:38-2669587) working for the social andcultural development of Kannadigas in Michigan. We are trying to bring all Kannadigas under one umbrella and share our culture and heritage. Our Koota is also a charter member of AKKA (Association of Kannada Association of America) and hosted the 2nd AKKA World Kannada Conference in 2002. Our Koota is also involved in local charities and volunteer programs.
